Spanish is the official language <\/span>of over 20 countries, mainly in Latin America. Being based in Spain\u2014the birthplace of t<\/span>he Spanish language (Castilian) which later spread to the American continent\u2014has given us an overview of the linguistic particularities of each one of these countries.<\/p>

Contrary to a common myth, there is no such thing as Latin American Spanish. While there are some commonalities between the languages spoken in the different Latin American countries, each one has developed its own unique variant. As such, it makes little sense to claim to translate a document into Latin American Spanish. For example, a document written in Mexico will seem strange to an Argentinian, just as a Cuban text may seem strange to a Peruvian.<\/p>

More than 35 years of experience <\/span>in translation into Spanish for Latin America have made us true specialists in how the language differs between countries, especially as regards the pharmaceutical industry. This allows us to steer clear of regionalisms and produce documents that can be used across Latin America.<\/p>
